The Best of TechEd 2012 awards recognize companies who offer innovative products for the industry. The judges reviewed 297 products and services submitted for the award and chose 46 finalists to be interviewed at the Microsoft TechEd North America 2012 conference in Orlando, Florida on June 12 and 13. Winners were announced at an invite only evening reception at the groove at Universal CityWalk in Florida on June 14.

TITUS Message Classification is an email security and governance solution that ensures all Microsoft Outlook email messages are classified and protectively marked before being sent, helping organizations to ensure consistent and proper handling of their email. Labels are fully customizable to meet internal and regulatory marking standards, and can be used to indicate any type of information, such as data sensitivity (Public, Confidential) and department (HR, Finance). Users add classifications with a simple and intuitive interface that is integrated into their regular Microsoft Outlook workflow. By assisting users to classify emails upon creation, organizations can add structure to the vast number of emails that are sent every day. This helps to prevent inadvertent disclosure, meet compliance requirements, and enhance infrastructure solutions such as archiving, DLP, and encryption.
