Alphabird announced today that Edward Noel and Scott Carlton will join the company as Chief Media Officer and Executive Vice President of Traffic Quality, respectively.
Noel joins Alphabird from Lycos, where he was responsible for crafting and implementing the long-term strategic vision, strategic planning and management of Web properties including Lycos Search, Hotbot and Whowhere. His 13 years at Lycos also include consolidating the global brand and leading the business strategy that resulted in its first profitable year ever in 2009.
Carlton brings over 25 years of experience in information technology and online advertising. At Adometry and Click Forensics, he built the client services organization from the ground-up, and launched processes that supported both advertising and ad network customers. He led the team that investigated how malware impacts the online advertising ecosystem. For Alphabird, he will work closely on quality analysis, metrics and reporting that will continue to enhance the value Alphabird brings to clients.
