From June 29 to July 3, teens 16-18 will play street hockey non-stop until they break the current record of 105 hours and 17 minutes. The event, which VMAC is supporting as a semi-exclusive sponsor, will also be raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island (40% of proceeds), Jeneece Place (40% of proceeds) & Harewood Youth Ball Hockey League (10% of proceeds). Players will need to raise a minimum of $50 on a pledge form in order to take part and the groups goal is to raise $5000. VMAC has provided funding as one of 3 semi-exclusive Power Panel sponsors with a panel adorning the walls of the Lacrosse Box in which the game will take place.
