Serco, Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services to the federal government, announced today that the Company has been awarded an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract to provide information technology (IT) services and solutions. Serco was selected as one of 54 companies to compete for tasks on the National Institute of Health (NIH) Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center Chief Information Officers – Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) contract. This government-wide acquisition contract (GWAC) has a ceiling value of $20 billion over a ten-year period.
Under the vehicle, Serco will bid on a range of IT task orders for all federal civilian and Department of Defense (DoD) agencies that require information technology services and solutions. The Company will offer a breadth of IT support to the Federal Enterprise Architecture, the Federal Health Architecture and the DoD Enterprise Architecture, with services including biomedical IT systems, cloud computing, cybersecurity, mobility, telecommunications, and data center consolidation. This CIO-SP3 contract is the successor contract to NIH’s CIO-SP2i, where Serco was previously a subcontractor.
