Destin, FL, United States, 2012/06/11 - GS-PS, a leading demolition company, which was recently published in April 2012 'Housing Wire' Magazine, and also highly regarded within the construction industry, is out to help expose The Rip-Report site, for it's highly unethical actions.

When negative postings about Green Solutions Property Services GS-PS surfaced on The Rip-Off Report.com (ROR), Doug Fernbacher, founder of GS-PS, decided to research (ROR), and what he found as he puts it, was very unsettling. "I was surprised and upset by my findings about The Rip-Off Report and its owner, Ed Magedson. Apparently others feel the same way, as clearly described in an article published in the New Pheonix TImes."
"There are at least 30 companies now paying the owner of RipOffReport to mitigate bad reports on his website. This to me seems highly unethical. How can the owner of ROR accept payment from the same companies that he claims to be fighting —
Here's how it works: Businesses pay Magedson a fee, plus a monthly retainer. And in exchange, Magedson makes "Editor's comments" next to complaints — generally saying that the claims are false.
This is wrong and I would think a violation of Federal Trade Commission Act. Or at the very least a violation of the Communications Decency Act."
Fernbacher remains hopeful however that things will change, as more and more lawsuits mount.
This article was inspired by an incident that occurred between GS-PS and a contractor which their company had several conversations with about doing repair work. "A contractor we had conversations with about doing repair work could not meet our time frame for getting a job started. We were not in a position to let our client wait two weeks before starting a job. So, we told this fellow that we had to find someone else for the job. He was not happy apparently, and threatened us by blasting GS-PS on RipOffReport.com....Several hours later, he sent a link to a post on the ROR website to members of our staff. I was apauled that such slanderous and fraudulent rhetoric could be published without being substantiated," says Fernbacher.
The following is one excerpts are from ROR about GS-PS.
"Green Solutions Property Services .... Beware: This is a scam company ripping off contractors & homeowners in 46 states...They are being investigated by the federal government for tax evasion and criminal activities......
This post went on to say we are "Selling Homes for Profit,” which is simply false, says Fernbacher. We work in commercial markets, and on homes for commercial clients, but we do not sell homes! And of course no such government issues are real or logical.
When you run hundreds of jobs monthly however, you always run the risk of a dealing with a few bad apples, but it is the egregious content that is allowed by Magedson to publish unsubstantiated information that is very damaging to which there is no seemingly ethical recourse.
