Less than one percent of L-3 CS-West’s suppliers have been distinguished with this honor.
“L-3 CS-West relies on outstanding support from suppliers like Parvus. What Parvus does on a day-to-day basis to support our programs is vital not only to our success, but the success of our customers,” said Kevin Farnsworth, L-3 Manager of Subcontracts. “Parvus’ commitment to delivering quality products and dedication to meeting our requirements is what prompted us to recognize Parvus with this prestigious award.”
Parvus supports various North American divisions of L-3, supplying rugged COTS mission computers, routers, switches, and other electronic assemblies for military and civilian defense applications. Parvus’ single most significant contract to date has been with Salt Lake City-based L-3 totaling over $30 million (USD) in orders since 2005 for electronics subsystems that support the L-3 ROVER data link system. ROVER (Remote Operations Video Enhanced Receiver) is widely used by US and NATO forces to view real-time video from unmanned and manned aircraft for battlefield situational awareness.
“Like all of our customers, L-3 is a vital business partner and Parvus is committed to supporting their objectives by delivering high-quality, rugged COTS products that satisfy the military’s rigorous requirements,” said Dusty Kramer, VP of Sales and Marketing for Parvus. “We are honored to receive the Platinum Excellence Award from L-3 Communication Systems-West as this is a rare recognition from an important technology innovator that continues to advance the capabilities of the warfighter.”
