Vision Pacific Co., Ltd the developer of intelligent under vehicle surveillance systems or UVSS announced their core product, the Colourscan UVSS will be deployed at several international consulates in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
"We are happy that the Colourscan UVSS has been chosen by the embassies as part of their vehicle screening solution. We believe our UVSS will exceed their expectation upon deployment” said Ms Patnacha Titisanon, Sales Manager of Vision Pacific.
The Colourscan UVSS technology has helped raise security screening standards because it is much faster and better than search mirrors. Screening can be completed in a few seconds from a high resolution digital image of the undercarriage.
The systems can also be configured with another product of Vision Pacific named Automatic Licence Plate Recognition (ALPR) to automatically recognise vehicle licence plate number as vehicles are being scanned.
“Most of our UVSS are sold configured with ALPR capability. Our ALPR engine is already configured to read licence plates with Thai, Arabic and Latin characters. This is a very useful technology as automatic recognition eliminates human error and speeds up vehicle screening time.”
“We have also expanded our system from Thai language base to other foreign languages. We are now able to customize the interface to Arabic, Chinese and Korean language. In fact, customers’ requirement has gone up and we are working on new features to meet market demand” Says Ms Patnacha.
The company also carries Videoscan, a Video Analog CCTV Under Vehicle Surveillance System which is a different technology system. The operator can perform real time undercarriage inspection through a 2-camera panel and has the capability to automatically store more than 100,000 vehicle access information in the database.
