An agreement has been reached to acquire Premier Spirits, LLC including all of the company’s assets to Bibo International, LLC.
Bibo International, LLC will continue the development of Soul Brazilian Premium Cachaça. Under the agreement, Bibo International, LLC will obtain exclusive global importing and exporting rights for the “Soul” Brand. In addition, Bibo International, LLC will be the exclusive owner of all trademarks, formulas, and other proprietary assets.
Soul Brazilian Premium Cachaça is a Gold Medal, 93 point rating, artisan Cachaça. Soul Brazilian Premium Cachaça recently was mentioned in the December 2011 issue of The Tasting Panel Magazine and was named as the “Brand Most Likely to Succeed in 2012”.
In addition, Bibo International, LLC has named Mark Lester as CEO and President of Bibo International, LLC. Lester believes the new move will be beneficial for the brand and company,“We have created and will continue to create strategic partnerships with global brands to connect consumers with superior adult beverage.” Lester also stated,” This s acquisition increases the power of the portfolio and increases the bottom line for our investors. We are very excited with the strategic and aggressive plan we have implemented for the direction of Bibo International, LLC and its brands”.
The complete details of the merger have not been released. The acquisition is to take effect immediately. Premier Spirits, LLC former CFO, Thales Cavalcanti, has been released from the company and any involvement. In exchanged Mr. Cavalcanti received an undisclosed settlement package.
Bibo International, LLC plans on launching this year other brands including wines and speciality cordials, as well as opening new markets for Soul Cachaça, including international expansion.
