Kerio Technologies today announced that it has reached a distribution agreement with Digital Techniques, a Sydney-based IT solutions distributor. Under the terms of the agreement, Digital Techniques will promote and distribute the hardware and software appliance editions of Kerio Control, a UTM security appliance, and Kerio Operator, an IP voice system. The hardware versions of these Kerio solutions were previously unavailable in Australia.
Digital Techniques has more than 2,500 Australian VARs in its reseller program and provides the latest information for selling and supporting a wide range of both hardware and software products. Digital Techniques’ Sydney staff also offers pre- and post-sale technical support. Known as a leading IT distributor that has embraced IP telephony, it will offer resellers a one-stop shop for secure VoIP via Kerio hardware.
“Ever since establishing a local presence in Australia two years ago, we have consistently grown our channel and customer base. This partnership significantly increases the availability of our product portfolio for the region,” said Abi Vickram, director of sales, APAC for Kerio Technologies. “Digital Techniques, with its strong reputation in IP voice, is an exciting addition to our partner program.”
The Kerio Partner Program is designed for IT resellers, consultants and MSPs that are dedicated to selling and supporting back-end IT infrastructure solutions. The program offers benefits such as on-line and in-person training programs, complimentary NFR licenses, no-cost certifications, and priority technical support. Kerio partners also have access to a new Partner Portal. This online resource is not just a repository for marketing and sales materials, but is customizable and interactive. Partners can request information like new sales leads and opportunities and ask questions of the Kerio sales team.
"Kerio has a strong reputation for comprehensive solutions that are easy to deploy and manage. We are pleased to partner with the company to distribute its portfolio," said, Rupert Utteridge, director of sales and marketing, DT Asia Corporation. “We look forward to expanding our relationship and establishing an even broader presence for Kerio in Australia.”
