Building on the company’s achievements to date in which over 1,000 customers in more than 75 countries are now using ABACUS, the new 4.0 release will further strengthen the product’s application in its key solution areas: IT Strategic Planning; IT Portfolio Management (ITPM); IT Service Management (ITSM); Business Process Management (BPM); Business Intelligence (BI); Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC); and Enterprise Architecture (EA).
ABACUS enables a complete enterprise model to be created across people, processes and technology, and for sophisticated analysis techniques to be performed that can define optimal investment paths and guide IT strategy. The forthcoming 4.0 release will introduce a broad range of new features, including Catalogue management for ‘round-tripping’ (import / export) with MS Excel spreadsheets and MS SharePoint lists, which automates and speeds the data collection process and integrates Enterprise Architecture with other core IT management practices.
ABACUS 4.0 is available as a beta release now to ABACUS Beta Program members and will shortly be available for open download with a 30-day Trial license from the Avolution website.
