O'Brien Homes is pleased to announce that Fusion in Sunnyvale was recently selected as the new residence of choice for two lucky homebuyers on HGTV’s popular show House Hunters! On Tuesday, March 6, viewers from around the country got a chance to watch as Deb and Ken, two high-tech professionals, view three new home options in the Silicon Valley, ultimately picking Fusion for their new place to call home.
After living in Deb’s apartment for the past several months, the episode’s featured couple decided it was time to take their relationship to the next level and buy their perfect new home in the Silicon Valley. They approached House Hunters with a $650,000 budget, hoping to buy a home close to work, with a large kitchen and low outdoor maintenance. The couple considered three home options in the area, but none seemed to compare with their second option at Fusion in Sunnyvale. “It was not hard for us to make the decision at all,” Deb recalled. “In fact, we knew this was the perfect place for us very shortly after entering the front door! We had seen a good number of other properties leading up to Fusion, but none of them felt 100% perfect. It's true what they say about that feeling you get when you know it's the right property for you. Fusion was ‘the one’ for us.”
Upon viewing the property, the couple was thrilled to discover the brand new townhome community’s unique design, beauty and extensive array of features. The kitchen’s ample counter space, large walk-in closets, outdoor patios, spacious living area and low price point matched almost everything they were looking for, and neighborhood amenities like the fitness center, 12-seat movie theater and Wi-Fi lounge at Fusion’s Pulse recreation center only added to the list.
“We absolutely loved the look and feel of the property, both inside AND outside. The floor plan for our model was absolutely perfect. We really wanted an open concept layout and were very, very pleased. It even had things we didn't even know we wanted!” commented Deb.
With a great location close to work to top it all off, Deb and Ken found that their decision to buy at Fusion was the only one that made sense. They put down their deposit just two days after viewing the property, and, now as proud residents of Fusion, they’ve never been happier. “We can't wait to get home from work every day. Since living at Fusion, we've actually found ourselves staying at home much more since there's no other place we'd rather be! We're extremely, extremely happy with the decision and we've even referred several of our friends to Fusion since there are still many homes being built in the community. It's no longer a question of whether or not they'll like the place. It's more of a question of whether or not they'll get selected in the lottery since these homes have become so popular!”
