British designer and illustrator, Alison Gardiner has launched an exquisite range of fine bone china to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee. The new design features Queen Elizabeth II travelling in her Gold Coach, passing a jubilant crowd as she travels to St Paul’s Cathedral in the City of London*. The Diamond Jubilee collection, all made in English Fine Bone China, includes a mug, teapot, commemoratives plates 10”, 8” and miniature . In addition there is an Artist’s limited edition Mug. They are all hand crafted in Stoke on Trent, England using traditional methods which have remained unchanged for generations.
The detailed illustration beautifully depicts the celebrations, with the crowd waving a flag stating “God Save the Queen”. A gilded rim of 22ct carat gold is featured on every piece within the collection, in addition to the words “To Celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee 2012”.
Alison has subtlety altered her illustrations to distinguish the Limited Edition Mug from the rest of the range. Look out for the marching corgis as one way of distinguishing this mug from the standard Diamond Jubilee mug. Also each mug is individually numbered by hand in gold.
This truly British range retails at rrp of £18.95 for the mug, £24.95 for the 10” plate, £18.95 for the 8” plate and £12.95 for the miniature plate, and £69.95 for the teapot. The Artists limited edition mug retails for £29.95. All products except the teapot are gift boxed.
The collection offers a unique memento to commemorate this historic occasion.
