The publisher behind magazines such as Fast Car, Fast Ford and Total Vauxhall is set to host another action-packed year, holding six high profile automotive events throughout the summer season.
In 2011 almost 80,000 car enthusiasts from across the world visited Future’s Auto Series and some of the biggest names in the industry, from former Stig Ben Collins to stunt driver Terry Grant, were in attendance to entertain the crowds.
Sponsored by Adrian Flux Insurance Services for the third consecutive year, the 2012 season kicks off with Europe’s biggest Japanese car show, Japfest, on Saturday 12th May at the Castle Combe Circuit. This year Japfest is celebrating its 10th anniversary, so visitors can expect the show to be bigger and better than ever.
The Classic Ford Show, the UK’s premier Classic Ford event, is second on the calendar, taking place on Sunday 27th May at Santa Pod Raceway. This is closely followed by the one-day spectacular Performance Vauxhall Show at Santa Pod on Sunday 10th June.
Japfest 2: The Evolution, is Japfest’s sister event, held at Donington Park on Sunday 8th July, whilst the world famous Silverstone Circuit plays host to Ford Fair on Sunday 12th August.
Future’s event season is rounded off in September with TRAX: The Ultimate Performance Car Event. TRAX is the UK’s biggest and best event for all performance and modified cars. Located at the heart of British Motorsport at the Silverstone Circuit, attendees can expect all day track events, thrilling stunt shows, over 3000 performance cars on display and much more. A spectacular finale to the year, TRAX is taking place on Sunday 2nd September 2012.
Richard Schofield, Group Publishing Director of Future’s Auto Portfolio, says: “Our annual Auto Events Series is always highly anticipated and forms an important part of our Automotive portfolio. We aim to cater for all types of car fans and give our consumers a tangible way to be part of the action and connect with our magazines. Our events are also a fantastic platform for exhibitors to engage with enthusiastic fans, providing the perfect event to bring industry, drivers, and consumers together.”
Adrian Flux Insurance Services, added: “We’re proud to be an official partner and continue to support the Auto Series Events in 2012. The range of events in 2011 allowed us as a company to engage with a number of key audiences on many levels. All of the events are very well coordinated and deliver exactly what was promised. The team at Future Publishing are enthusiastic, well organised and a real pleasure to work with and we look forward to continuing this relationship in the future.”
