[De Luze Cognac delighting the UK market]
Today the Boinaud Domaine is cared for by the 23rd generation of the family; the Domaine is home to 410 hectares of vineyards, where all of the crafts that go into the production of premium cognac and continual family presence dating back to the origins of cognac in the 17th century are continued. This Cognac has been produced from the harvest of the exclusive Domaine Boinaud vineyard in Grande Champagne, the premier district of the appellation.
De Luze cognac is made from unfiltered eaux-de-vie; this is based on the belief of taking nothing away and not adding anything to an already superior product. The distillation and blending also take place at the Domaine, with the barrels made on site by the copper and the oak coming from Limousin. De Luze is a wonderful brand full of character and unrivaled quality, recognised with Gold at the IWSC in 2009, 2010 & 2011.
The Boinuad family is not afraid to be innovators and with that in mind they have produced Alfred, made with the same uncompromising quality. It has an ABV of 43% and has been blended to be sipped over ice; in addition it works very well in cocktails.
