Northwest Flyers, Inc., a Jet Charter, Aircraft Management and Acquisition Company based in the Chicago suburbs, Los Angeles and WI region adds fourth Citation Mustang to its Part 135 air carrier certificate.
The latest Mustang to be added to Northwest Flyers ever-growing fleet will be based in Rice Lake, WI. The four passenger VLJ (Very Light Jet) has proven to be the Light Jet of choice servicing the Los Angeles and Chicago based locations. This addition will now give the Minneapolis and Eau Claire WI regions the opportunity to service clients in a very practical and very comfortable jet. The Citation Mustang travels up to 350knts with a range of up to 900nm. The Mustang is capable of flying single pilot which will allow up to a five passenger load.
The inherent versatility of the Mustang allows for operation into just about any airport. Whether it’s getting in line with airliners to land at our nation’s largest airports or utilizing the Mustang’s slow and stable approach speeds to land at smaller airstrips, the Mustang is the perfect airplane for almost any regional mission.

Northwest Flyers was founded in 1986 by Justin “Skip” Barchfeld, who currently has more than 37 years of flight experience, over 12,000 flight hours and all FAA licenses up to and including his Airline Transport Pilot (ATP). The Northwest Flyers charter fleet consists primarily of a King Air 200 and 4 Cessna Citation Mustangs, with plans set for additional aircraft in the coming months. Along with its Charter Services, Northwest Flyers also provides Aircraft Management and Acquisition, Flight Training, Maintenance, Air Ambulance and FBO services at Schaumburg Regional Airport. Northwest Flyers is celebrating 25 years in the Private Aircraft Charter Industry.
