Stringer focuses on addressing each patient’s individual needs through acupuncture, Chinese herbs, bodywork, and nutrition.
“With the hustle and bustle in everyone’s lives today, acupuncture is needed more now than ever to help people remain healthy and stress free,” Stringer states. “Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to achieve optimal health and wellness.”
Stringer began her holistic healthcare journey in 2001, becoming a licensed massage therapist in Los Angeles. She managed her own massage business, Heart In Hands, specializing in Swedish, deep tissue and sports massage techniques. In 2002, she trained with the Doulas of North America, assisting many women with the birth of their child. It is estimated that as many as 38% of adult Americans have used or are currently using some form of complementary or alternative therapy such as acupuncture or Oriental Medicine. Acupuncture can effectively treat both acute and chronic conditions, from stress reduction, aches/pain, women’s health (menopause, PMS, irregular menses, infertility, and so forth), to digestive issues, sports injuries, sports enhancement, and emotional imbalances. It can also provide remedial and preventative care. The World Health Organization (WHO) recognizes over 200 conditions treatable with acupuncture.
“Many people turn to acupuncture when Western medicine yields no results,” says Stringer. “Our main objective is to get your body back in balance and assist you with reaching your health goals.”
