This is the first time White Plains Hospital has received the honor from Women Certified, a Florida-based organization which awards businesses and brands based on customer experience.
Hospitals are selected for the annual WomenCertified list based on a proprietary scoring process that incorporates Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores along with a higher level of analysis that weighs criteria identified as the most important to women for patient satisfaction. Additionally, it takes into consideration WomenCertified’s in-depth research on customer satisfaction among women, including a joint study on customer satisfaction by gender conducted with the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jon Schandler, President and CEO of White Plains Hospital said,“To be honored with this award is a true testament to the remarkable work we have been doing at White Plains Hospital for decades, which is now being even more widely recognized. The quality of care we give our patients is always our highest priority and we are proud of the exceptional work we do, every day.”
