Wolters Kluwer Health announced today that Pharmacy OneSource, software-as-a-service provider of Sentri7, a clinical surveillance, documentation and reporting tool, is hosting a complimentary webinar with Jim Jorgenson, RPh, MS, FASHP, on "Effective Pharmacy Interactions with The C-Suite."
Jorgenson, Chief Pharmacy Officer and Vice President of Indiana University Health, will provide the pharmacist with background information about the current healthcare environment, with an emphasis on how the hospital/health-system and priorities of the C-Suite are affected. The overall goal is to enable the pharmacist to gain knowledge and confidence in preparation to present to the C-Suite on topics affecting pharmacy and the medication use process. Specific case examples of presentations that worked and did not work will be provided.

About the Presenter
Jim Jorgenson, RPh, MS, FASHP, is Chief Pharmacy Officer and Vice President of Indiana University Health. As Chief Pharmacy Officer, Jorgenson's responsibilities include the direction and leadership for all Indiana University Health system pharmacy programs. Inpatient services provide direct pharmacy care for 20 hospitals statewide including Indiana University Medical Center, Riley Children’s Hospital and the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center. Ambulatory programs include a retail pharmacy network, a mail order pharmacy, infusion pharmacies and a variety of ambulatory clinical pharmacy services.
Jorgenson has also been an active member of ASHP, serving on the ASHP Goals Committee, the Commission on Credentialing and the Councils for Legal and Public Affairs and Administrative Affairs and in numerous state affiliated chapter positions. He has authored multiple peer reviewed publications and has provided numerous invited presentations both nationally and internationally.
