Specializing in integrated technology, Aero Sekur combines flotation bags and life-rafts with gas cylinders/inflation systems and housing for incorporation into aircraft or helicopter frames. A key feature of the company’s display will be an innovative flotation/airbag concept: designed to increase survival rates of helicopters, and their crews, Aero Sekur’s crash protection system reduces G-forces during impact and controls roll/pitch.
With a forty year history developing life-rafts and flotation systems, Aero Sekur’s engineering initiatives for aerospace include a retrofittable Non-Pyrotechnic Inflation System: avoiding many of the problems associated with conventional pyrotechnic systems, the NPIS can be actuated over 100 times without performance degradation.
Crashworthy/self-sealing fuel tanks for civil and military airborne heli-applications also feature in Aero Sekur’s product portfolio. Manufactured from rubber, the tanks offer a number of advantages over metal products: fatigue / weld failure are avoided, complex shapes can be produced and maximum use is made of available space.
