Wixom, MI, United States, 2011/11/18 - The St. Catherine of Siena Academy hosted a Ribbon Cutting and Open House Ceremony on Sunday, November 6, at 1pm to mark the official opening of its permanent facility at 28200 Napier Road, Wixom, Michigan.

Invited guests included the Mayor for the City of Wixom Kevin Hinkley, local officials, St. Catherine of Siena Academy Foundation board members, Ledcor Group officials, local community leaders, and members of the media.
The Ledcor Group was the main event sponsor. Founded in 1947, the Ledcor Group is an employee-owned company with a broad portfolio throughout North America. St. Catherine of Siena Academy moved to its state-of-the-art, 137,000 square-foot facility in September of 2011. Principal Kathy Tarnacki says she is eager to show off SCA’s full-featured facility to students, families, and community supporters.
Tarnacki states: We were blessed with a beautiful day and the privilege of joining together with our community to celebrate the official opening of St. Catherine of Siena Academy! Our students were a joy to behold as they cheered for their school and with pride gave tours of their new “all-girls Catholic high school” to over 500 guests that day. St. Catherine’s looks forward to the future, which is bright with possibilities for the girls who attend and the community we serve!
