The LinkShare Symposium West 2012 event draws over 400 attendees and offers three days of education and networking where advertisers, publishers and agencies meet face-to-face to discuss the latest trends in performance marketing and e-commerce.

The event is being held at the Intercontinental Hotel in San Francisco on January 17-19, 2012. This year’s theme,“Think Forward,” will focus on the latest e-commerce trends and how consumer behavior is evolving. Keynote speakers at LinkShare Symposium West 2012 are:
Andy Hoar, senior analyst, Forrester Research. Inc. Andy’s presentation,“Trends in Online Retail: 2012 and Beyond” will cover the latest information on holiday results, the e-commerce forecast in 2012 as well as the latest trends in social media, mobile and global e-commerce.
Bridget Brennan, CEO of The Female Factor, a consulting firm that helps companies improve their ability to successfully market to women. Brennan’s presentation,“Why She Buys: The New Strategy for Reaching the World's Most Powerful Consumers” will be based on her acclaimed book of the same title. Attendees will obtain insights on gender psychology, and the global trends driving women’s purchasing decisions. A book signing will take place following the session.
Additional Symposium West highlights include LinkShare University for Advertisers. This full day of education covers a range of performance marketing topics including how to grow your affiliate channel, optimizing affiliate marketing strategies and programs, and understanding key performance indicators and analytics.
The “DealMaker” networking sessions enable advertisers and publishers to meet face-to-face to strengthen strategic partnerships and create more profitable promotional opportunities. Additional networking time has been added to the agenda this year as well as an online system for scheduling face-to-face meetings. In addition, the “Last Call” networking session is an opportunity for participants to set up last minute face-to-face meetings to follow-up on discussions held during the conference.
