Wolters Kluwer Health announced today that Pharmacy OneSource, an online resource for hospital pharmacists, is hosting a complimentary webinar with Mark Shigihara, RPh, CMR, in "Living Lessons - The Patient Journey."
Shigihara will discuss the patient journey from the dual perspective of a healthcare provider and a patient. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly cancers but Mark has battled it for more than four years with a maximum-blitz approach to integrative therapy. As November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, share his journey to gain a further appreciation of the challenges a patient faces and innovative therapeutic options. About the Presenter
Mark Shigihara, RPh, CMR, is a four-plus-year survivor of advanced stage 4 cancer. He is the author of “Living Lessons” and is also an inspirational speaker for cancer patients. In addition, he has been an invited corporate speaker to address the patient journey, overcoming challenges in the workplace and the power of faith. He is a pharmacist who has been involved with pharmacy education in the realms of industry and academia for more than 25 years. He is on multiple schools of pharmacy affiliate faculties and is an affiliate assistant professor with the University of Washington Pharmacy School in Seattle, WA.
