Aeromedevac, Inc., the San Diego-based air ambulance provider servicing patients in the U.S. and Mexico, announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of a Learjet 35-A today.
The new Learjet is known as the workhorse of the air ambulance industry. It has a 36-inch-wide cargo door for safe and rapid patient loading and unloading. It has the fuel range of 2,200 miles, which will allow Aeromedevac, Inc. to fly non-stop from coast to coast at 540 MPH top speed.

The Learjet 35-A has a 45,000-foot service system, which will allow Aeromedevac, Inc. to fly above unfavorable weather. The jet is equipped with a Spectrum Aeromedevac 2800 series stretcher with on-board oxygen, suction and a power inverter.
