VerticalResponse, a leading provider of self-service marketing solutions for small businesses including email marketing, online survey, social media, event marketing and direct mail marketing, was named a finalist in seven categories in the 8th annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs and the companies they run – worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
More than 1,300 entries – a record for the competition – were submitted this year for consideration in 75 categories. VerticalResponse was named a finalist in all seven categories it entered. They include:
• Best Overall Company of the Year;
• Fastest Growing Company of the Year;
• Website of the Year;
• Blog of the Year;
• Best Entrepreneur – Janine Popick, CEO;
• Mentor or Coach of the Year – Kim Stiglitz, Director of Lifecycle Marketing;
• Best Executive – Kristen Hayer, Director of Sales and Support.
The company's major achievements over the past year include launching a new event marketing product, VerticalResponse Event Marketing; introducing new tools for customers and their subscribers to share their email marketing messages across social media; and unveiling a brand-new website. Additionally, VerticalResponse once again ranked on the Inc. 500|5000 list of America's fastest growing private companies, a list it's been on for six consecutive years.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word "crowned," winners will be announced during a gala event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Friday, November 11. Nominated women executives and entrepreneurs from the United States and several other countries are expected to attend. The presentations will be broadcast live on radio in the United States by the Business TalkRadio Network.
Finalists were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging. Members of the six final judging committees will select Stevie Award winners from among the finalists during final judging.
