Valencia, CA, United States, 2011/10/13 - High end pet products manufacturing company is on a search for a company spokesperson. It will be featuring one of company's newest inventions: the Lost N’ Found™ smartphone pet ID Tags - PlatinumPetsUSA.com.
Platinum Pets, Inc. the high fashion pet products manufacturing company announced today on Facebook that it is on a search for a dog or cat to be named as the company’s spokesperson. The casting call is for local pets within Valencia, CA or Los Angeles with interesting and unique features.
“The mascot will most likely be given the stage name ‘President of Platinum Pets, ’ and he or she may be featured in a series of Television commercials, Internet, or print ads.” Said Allen Tahir, Vice President of Sales at Platinum Pets, Inc. in a privately held press conference on Monday, October 10, 2011. The chosen pet for the major advertising campaign will be given a lifetime supply of the company’s 600+ SKU products. He further continued by stating that the main purpose of the major advertising campaign is to promote the company’s newest patent pending product: The Lost N’ Found™ Smart Phone Scannable Pet ID Tags. He believes that this new ‘tech gadget’ (The Lost N’ Found™ Pet ID Tag) will go on to revolutionize the way we use pet tags and smart phones.
“It is truly a unique product that serves a purpose and need in our society today” said Sarah Koester the Marketing Director at Platinum Pets, Inc. “our scannable pet ID tag is not meant to replace Microchipping, but rather be used as an alternative method that anyone with a smarthphone can use, scan and locate the lost pets owner - it's a fraction of the cost of microchipping, extremely easy to use, and everyone can use it” she continued.
According to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), only 3-5% of the dogs and cats in the United States are microchipped, and a whopping 58% of those dogs and cats that are chipped provide outdated information.
Lets face it, microchips can be a hassle – you have to make appointment with your vet, the microchip needs to be surgically implanted, it's expensive, not easy to modify, non-transferable and can only be scanned by vets and shelters, and most importantly is it even healthy for your pet?
With the Platinum Pets Lost N’ Found™ smartphone pet ID tag, users have the comfort of knowing that no matter where they may be, their furry friends are safe and can easily be tracked home, all thanks to the dedicated QR code that can be scanned with any of today’s smartphones.
