Saint Paul, MN, United States, 2011/10/13 - Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) hosts U.S. Global Mobility Summit and selects Global Tax Network for best practices in expatriate tax consulting and compliance - GTN.com / IngenuityMarketing.com.
Global Tax Network (GTN) received the 2011 “Tax/Legal Services Provider of the Year” EMMA award at the annual U.S. Global Mobility Summit in Chicago, hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM). The prestigious award affirms GTN’s dedication to the international tax needs of emerging and growing global mobility programs, rivaling their Big Four competition.
In each award category, awards were given to highly commended firms and runners up. GTN received the top award in the U.S. “Tax/Legal Services Provider of the Year” category. GTN’s UK office is also a shortlisted nominee for the same award at the 2011 FEM Global Mobility Summit in Europe. Winners will be announced at that gala event in London on November 4.
FEM, an international information portal and resource for members in the global mobility field, annually hosts a U.S. and European Global Mobility Summit, the highlight of which is the EMMA awards — honoring select corporate global mobility programs and affiliate service providers for best practices in the global mobility field. Reviewing more than 200 entries, FEM announced the U.S. winners at the Summit’s gala event in September.
FEM touts the EMMAs as the “Oscars of the global mobility profession” and notes that winning an EMMA is the ultimate recognition of professional excellence.
“This is truly an honor given the high level of competition,” agreed Dave Kolb, CPA and President of GTN’s U.S. firm. “The EMMA reinforces that GTN’s team of professionals ‘walk the talk’ of quality performance—providing straightforward advice and an optimal experience for our clients and assignees.”
