Lake Forest, CA, United States, 2011/10/13 - Patented security caps, polycarbonate cover work together to protect vehicle license plate - CAMincUSA.com.
With the value of classic and custom license plates on the rise, Camisasca Automotive Manufacturing is now offering a new kit known as PlateSafe, which will work to keep car owners’ license plate and registration tags safe. The system includes: a stainless steel license plate frame, polycarbonate frame cover, and patented security caps, which work together to prevent plate and registration tag theft.
The license plate frame is produced by Camisasca Automotive Manufacturing, the same manufacturer that is an exclusive supplier of frames to 23 OEMs, such as BMW, Mazda and Volkswagen. These frames, made from 18 gauge stainless steel, are guaranteed for a minimum of 4 years exterior use.
The security caps are also stainless steel, and attach to existing screws with a head of up to ½ inch in diameter. This set of two caps can also be used separately for European or custom-sized plates, or to protect valued items from tampering.
The frame cover is made from a clear, U.V.-resistant polycarbonate for maximum protection against rocks, dirt, bugs and debris. It is impact resistant, and will not yellow over time.
All parts of the kit are also available as individual accessories. Camisasca Automotive Manufacturing recommends the entire system for maximum value and protection.
PlateSafe is currently available through Autostuff.com (autostuff.com) and Sheepskin outlet (sheepskinoutlet.net) for $44.95.
