Oracle announced that Mazda Motor Corporation has adopted Oracle Applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database 11g and Oracle Exadata Database Machine to support its global business by establishing a next-generation IT foundation.
With global manufacturing operations across nearly 120 countries and regions, Mazda needed a comprehensive, service-oriented architecture (SOA) to help integrate multiple systems, extend data accessibility and standardize critical business processes.
Mazda is transforming the way it manages its systems infrastructure on a global scale with Oracle. The company expects to reduce the costs of building and maintaining information systems, helping to reduce time to implementation and improve productivity, performance and profits.
After a competitive review process, Mazda selected Oracle and Oracle Japan solutions including Oracle Applications, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database 11g and Oracle Exadata Database Machine to integrate its global information systems into a complete structure that responds rapidly to market and operational changes. Oracle will also deliver education, consulting services and customer services to maximize user experience and value of those products.
