150 blues acts from around the world compete for cash, prizes, and industry recognition. The Blues Foundation (blues.org) will host the 23rd International Blues Challenge February 1-3, 2007 in Memphis, TN. The world's largest competition for blues acts represents an international search by The Blues Foundation and its 145 Affiliated Organizations for the Blues Band and Solo/Duo Blues Act ready to perform on a national stage, but just need that extra break. Preliminary round of competition features 150 acts performing in clubs up and down Beale Street. Featured venues include B. B. King's, Rum Boogie, Hard Rock Cafe and many more.

Entries For 2007 Competition Close November 30
Entrants MUST represent a Blues Foundation affiliate organization. After November 30, musicians should contact their local Blues Foundation affiliate organization for 24th International Blues Challenge in 2008. For a list of affiliate organizations, visit the Blues Foundation website.
