London, United Kingdom, 2011/09/09 - September 2011 marks the debut of premium jewellery label Shangri-La, a new eclectic and trend led range of beaded bracelets inspired by spirituality.
Inspired by traditional Tibetan and Bhutanese Bhuddist jewellery, Shangri-La was founded by Creative Director Youcef Aden – who believes that bracelets help carry and signify spiritual focus. This philosophy prompted him to launch the collection, and offer shoppers a way to represent their spiritual practice through fashion.
Each piece in the collection is handmade by a team of craftsmen in Tibet, who employ the power of meditation while creating the collection using time honoured and arcane techniques honed through many years of experience – infusing their own spirituality into each design as it is made.
The first collection has been carefully constructed to offer a wide selection of individual designs, allowing people to choose a bracelet that is true to and represents their personal style and spirituality. The range features crystals and semi-precious stones such as Onyx and Turquoise, along with sandalwood and leather, and Shangri-La aims to combine both old and new materials and those that have spiritual significance.
Shangri-La has five product categories; original beaded bracelets, crystal bracelets, gemstone bracelets, leather bracelets and limited edition pieces. Each range will be updated seasonally, and new pieces will launch on the Shangri-La website every month.
Prices range from £49 for orginal beaded bracelets and up to £1850 for limited edition pieces.
