Radware, a leading provider of application delivery and application security solutions for virtual and cloud data centres, today announced that Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (KONAMI) has purchased Radware’s ADC-VX, the industry's first Application Delivery Controller (ADC) hypervisor that runs multiple virtual ADC instances on Radware’s dedicated OnDemand Switch platform. KONAMI will use the solution to consolidate its system infrastructure, improve the quality of experience for customers, and provide them with new ways of having fun.
Based in Tokyo, KONAMI is a leading global developer, publisher and manufacturer of electronic entertainment properties such as home video game consoles, social games and arcade games in worldwide markets.
After evaluating several ADC solutions, KONAMI chose Radware’s ADC-VX solution for its unique virtualisation capabilities, which include complete fault, network and management isolation between its virtual ADC instances. This isolation architecture will help KONAMI minimise the need for additional investment in hardware to support application processing requirements and ultimately decrease costs. Additionally, the deployment of Radware’s ADC-VX provides operational expenditure savings in terms of power, cooling, carbon footprint, reduced annual service costs and new service facilitation.
