At the same time, the works performed for this Air Base between 2005-2006, within the “the guide” program were received, program performed by Romanian Air Force in order to endow Military Aerodromes with modern equipments, fully compatible with the ones existing in the military Aviation of NATO states and in the civilian aviation, according to NATO standards and to International Civilian Aviation Organization (ICAO). (Ministry of National Defense press release on 09/26/2006).
TOPEX has provided the air traffic control specific telephony system (TOPEX VCSS).
