Antenna Software, Inc., helping enterprises to build, manage and publish mobile apps and websites that transform business, today announced that Tony Kueh, Senior Vice President and Product Management will speak at the Federal Mobile Computing Summit in Washington, D.C., on 'The Case for a Unified Mobile Strategy to Engage Citizens and Empower Employees.'
WHAT: The USDA and the Federal CIO Council have combined their respective mobile computing conferences and have renamed the joint conference The Federal Mobile Computing Summit. The two-day conference aims to survey lessons learned, implement best practices as well as to discuss new technology, software and services to best enable a mobile government workforce. Kueh will be speaking as part of the first series of breakout session presentations along with Brent Williams, Chief Architect Anakam Identity Services of Equifax Inc., and executives from Adobe Systems, Inc.
Today, more government employees are relying on their personal mobile devices at work and the HTML5 standard is making web apps more functional than ever before. But, these rapid, consumer-driven advancements have also caused major IT concerns in areas such as security and usability. In his presentation, Kueh will illustrate how challenges, such as effective design, device fragmentation, security, and manageability can and must be solved across platforms for the greatest ROI. He will also share insights on how these same practices apply to citizen-facing mobile applications, ultimately making the case for a holistic mobile strategy to mobilize all systems and people in the organization - giving rise to a unified mGovernment that is more personable, responsive and effective.
