At the 76th anniversary of the Booker T. Washington Business Association, Mr. Ronald N. Langston, the National Director of the Minority Business Development Agency, part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, will address minority business economic empowerment and access to new market opportunities as well as developing strategies to grow African American businesses. With this year’s theme, “Standing on the Shoulders of Pioneer Entrepreneurs: Building Stronger Business for Tomorrow,” nearly 600 business and community leaders will gather to pay tribute to minority entrepreneurs, partners and advocates who have had a significant and valuable impact upon the continued growth and development of local small and minority businesses. The event is co-chaired by Dr. Juliette Okotie-Eboh, MGM Grand Detroit Casino Roderick K. Rickman, MPS Group, Inc.; Georgella Muirhead, Berg Muirhead & Associates; and Sharon E. Bernard, Esq., Chairperson Emeritus.
