SRI Jazz is now releasing three new albums from the original Assunto Family,“The Dukes of Dixieland”. The Dukes were and still are the most popular Dixieland group of all time. In addition to a live album,“Live at the Famous Door Bar” recorded live in New Orleans, SRI is proud to announce a CD called “Family Favorites” which was compiled by the Assunto family itself plus a very special album of the Dukes with Louie “Satchmo” Armstrong entitled “Lost Treasures for release as well.
Another SRI Original,“Great Ladies of Jazz” gives a sampling of the best female jazz vocalists of all time including Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Anita O’Day, Lena Horne and many more.
