The £100,000 contract will support the new company’s business development following its recent purchase of around 250 hotels and pubs from the administrators of London & Edinburgh Inns.
The UK hotel and leisure company chose to implement COA’s OpenAccounts V6 financial management solution, part of the COA Smart Business Suite, for its reporting, accounting and web-based capabilities. It also closely integrated COA’s OpenPeople payroll system to enable more efficient management of over 2,500 employee payslips and chose to adopt COA’s eprocurement and eBIS solutions.
Andy Goldsmith, financial controller of Oxford Hotels and Inns Management said, “Since acquiring the group of pubs and hotels, we required a solution that could cope with a large network of operators and provide a high level of customer service. The CedarOpenAccounts’ financial management and payroll systems offer the company all the functionality we require and more. As a start-up company it is vital that we can rely on a strong and reliable system, so it was a natural choice to implement both OpenAccounts V6 and OpenPeople solutions. The CedarOpenAccounts’ team were able to demonstrate both flexibility and ease of use and were also able to deliver the short implementation timescale of only five days.”
