	The two-week celebration of special events and offers continues through Wednesday, Aug. 10. “We’re the first cleaners in the area to be completely 100% environmentally friendly,” says owner Kevin Perren. Perren’s Greener Cleaners (perrensgreenercleaners.com) uses water-based solvents, biodegradable soaps and conditioners in a wet-cleaning, odorless process to clean clothing, coats, rugs and household items, he explains. “Garments are cleaner, fresher and softer, and there’s no chemical odor,” he says. “Tests by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency have proven our cleaners are entirely harmless to your health and friendly to our environment.” The cleaning facility opened its doors in April and will host a grand opening ceremony on Wednesday, July 27. A ribbon-cutting with the Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce is set for 11:30 am.
