Vienna, Austria, 2011/07/15 - Borealis, a leading provider of chemical and innovative plastics solutions, announces the appointment of John Webster as Director of the Business Unit Melamine as of July 1 - BorealisGroup.com. Borealis
John Webster will take over this new responsibility in addition to his position as Director for the Borealis Phenol business. He succeeds Rainer Höfling, who was appointed Vice President for the Business Unit Moulding, also effective July 1, 2011.
John Webster brings with him 20 years of experience within Borealis. Before taking over the Business Unit Phenol in September 2007, he held several international management positions in Marketing and Sales for both Borealis and Borouge, a joint venture between Borealis and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. John Webster studied Polymer Science and Technology at the Manchester Metropolitan University and holds an Executive MBA from the Manchester Business School.
