Clifton Park, NY, United States, 2011/07/07 - NetLearning, part of Cengage Learning and a leading provider of online courses and e-learning software for healthcare workers and hospital administrators, announced a new series of courses to train healthcare workers on the complexities of diabetes care.

The new series of courses, accredited by the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) and the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), were designed to teach nurses, registered dietitians, dietitian technicians and pharmacists about diabetes, its signs and symptoms, the physiological disease process, risk factors for developing the disease and treatment options available. Professionals are also taught how to counsel, coach and manage patient contact to ensure improved success with diabetes prevention and maintenance.
