Symphony Services, a leader in global product engineering services, today announced the addition of EYC as a new client. EYC has hired Symphony Services to accelerate the delivery of the latest version of its flagship technology, EYC Aspects. EYC, a provider of analytics for actionable customer engagement for the world’s largest retailers, selected Symphony Services based on its track record of success in accelerating and implementing technology for software companies, its expertise in resource planning and its Engineering Outcome Certainty.

EYC has tasked Symphony Services with advancing the building of scalable and affordable software products under the guidance of EYC’s analytical and design team, who will continue to manage the massive volumes of complex data associated with customer loyalty databases, as well as EYC’s respected commercial applications.

“Our selection of Symphony Services to accelerate the IT implementation for our sophisticated analytics was an easy decision to make based on their value proposition and track record of success,” said Jagpal Jheeta, Global Head IT Operations, EYC. “EYC is a successful business that has developed a lot of intellectual analytical assets over the years. With the appointment of Symphony Services and its highly skilled engineers, EYC will accelerate the build of scalable market leading software that our customers have come to rely on, as well as reduce the build cost for EYC.”

EYC has clients in the U.S., Europe and Asia. The company supplies fast, accurate and transparent data analytics technology that helps its clients reduce costs and increase revenues through building repeat customer habits and improving efficiency across their businesses. EYC delivers customer insight to its clients which can be translated into driving growth and reducing operational costs.

“Making sense of incredibly vast amounts of data that companies have in-house – and then acting on that data to effect better, more strategic business decisions – is the singular challenge that EYC addresses,” said Dr. Venkat Rajan, GM, Analytics, Symphony Services. “We’re excited to play a crucial role in accelerating EYC’s solution to provide its clients with the data they need to drive higher customer satisfaction levels and, by extension, higher profits.”

The Analytics Business Unit within Symphony Services provides a unique and comprehensive set of services and solutions. The service offerings currently leveraged by EYC include complete product development lifecycle (PDLC) support for analytics solution development, data warehouse and business intelligence (BI)/reporting solution development using industry standard technologies, and advanced analytics services for domain-specific predictive analysis and optimization. The solution offerings which may be used by EYC in the future include the SymphonyRPM platform, a code-free environment that enables Independence Service Vendors (ISVs) to quickly develop closed-loop analytics solutions. Using these solutions and services, the Analytics Business Unit helps ISVs develop innovative and highly differentiated analytic solutions, and get them to market quickly to drive new revenue opportunities with higher margins.
