Four attorneys from the law firm Bailey Kennedy in Las Vegas have been selected by Super Lawyers among the top attorneys in Nevada and the Western United States. John Bailey, Dennis Kennedy and Joshua Dickey were named “Mountain States Super Lawyers” and Craig Henderson was named a “Mountain States Rising Star” for 2011. Less than 5 percent of attorneys in the country are selected by Super Lawyers for their annual guide.
“Super Lawyers,” a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a rigorous multi-phased process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. Its Rising Stars program was founded in 1998 and recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.
Bailey, Kennedy and Dickey are all shareholders at Bailey Kennedy. Bailey is the firm’s founder and managing shareholder, specializing in healthcare law and business litigation. Dickey’s legal practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including disputes in such areas as commercial law, corporate law, business torts, and constitutional law. He is a member of the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board of the State Bar of Nevada and is on the editorial staff of the Nevada Civil Practice Manual.
Henderson was also named a “Mountain States Rising Star” in 2009. He practices in the area of civil litigation including real estate, complex commercial litigation and guardianships.
