Philadelphia, PA, United States, 2006/10/06 - Philadelphia enjoys a strong reputation as a cultural Mecca, but it is the city’s culinary traditions that keep it vibrant. This is a city that prefers its art to be served on a plate.
In that light, two landmark culinary institutions are announcing a series of joint social events aimed at local connoisseurs.
“I am thrilled to host wine & cheese events with The Wine School of Philadelphia,” says Ellen Hutton of Di Bruno Brothers, the city’s famed cheese shop, "I think it’s a natural pairing”. Keith Wallace, founder of The Wine School of Philadelphia, follows up by saying “I cannot wait for these events to start. I have been a fan of Di Bruno’s for years. Its kinda like getting to hang out with a rock star for a few hours, but that’s just me.”
The events will be hosted at Di Bruno’s Center City location; they will feature the top wine & cheese gurus in Philadelphia in an open, relaxed atmosphere. Registrations are required to attend.

The school runs certificate & diploma programs for wine enthusiasts and professionals (via a University partnership). It also offers consulting programs for the wine industry, including programs in enology, brand identity, and market research. The school continues to offer popular individual wine classes.
