Auriga, a U.S.-based software R&D outsourcing services provider with development centers in Russia, announced today the appointment of Alexey Rybakov to Managing Director, USA, and opening of new branch office in Woburn, MA to further enhance company’s strong presence in the US market.
Alexey Rybakov is responsible for Auriga’s long-term growth strategy in the US including success of customer acquisition and retention, US marketing, sales, and customer operations programs. Alexey brings over 15 years of hands-on technical, managerial, and senior executive experience in information technology and software. He excels at driving growth, expansion, and innovation.

Prior to joining Auriga in 2010, Alexey was the Managing Director at Aprentis, one of the top players in virtualization, SaaS, and cloud computing in Russia. In 2005-2008, Alexey played a key role in the global success of disruptive MeshNetics ZigBit technology being end-to-end responsible for the entire business from sales and marketing through engineering, manufacturing, distribution, and customer support. In 2003-2005 he already worked at Auriga as Director of Business Development Europe & Marketing Worldwide. Alexey holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
The new Auriga office directly fronts Routes 128 and Interstate 95 in Woburn, MA in Greater Boston area and will increase proximity and accessibility for Auriga clients, partners, and prospects. Since 1950s, Route 128 has been devoted to the creation of new information technology and, like Silicon Valley, is a recognized business and economic cluster. Over years, Route 128, where IT industry is complemented by the support of universities and government agencies, hosted major technology and IT companies such as SAP, Oracle, Adobe, Sun Microsystems, EMC, Webex, and others.
