Senior Aerospace GmbH, based in Schaffhussen, Switzerland, has signed a five year contract for the provision of outsourced manufacturing in Mexico support, or,“shelter company,” services with Offshore International, Inc. of Tucson, Arizona. Prior the establishment of Senior Aerospace GmbH, Senior operated in Mexico within The Offshore Group’s ISO 2001:2008 certified Shelter Plan under the name of Senior Operations LLC (Ketema Division).
The company occupies 70,066 square feet of industrial space at The Offshore Group’s La Angostura Industrial Park in Saltillo, Coahuila. Services at that site will be provided by The Offshore Group’s Manufacturas Zapalinamé. They include:
• Human resource management;
• Payroll and benefits administration;
• Import and export management;
• Industrial building maintenance.
Senior Aerospace Structures Division Chief Executive Officer, Jerry Goodwin commented on the new agreement: “We look forward to continuing the Mexico relationship with The Offshore Group that began a decade ago when we were known as Senior Operations LLC (Ketema Division). The services that The Offshore Group has delivered over the years have enabled us to dedicate our full focus to our core manufacturing functions. The ability to do so has added to our competitive edge.”
Senior Aerospace, GmbH, manufactures products for the power generation and aerospace industries, having recently been awarded a contract from a major aerospace OEM which is an area that Senior is investing in order to grow.
