Given the new direction that Phoenix is heading by terminating its “Trusted Network Partner” program under its new CEO, TNS will look at other Channel strong vendors who will continue to build its Channel relationship and not abandon it Partners, said Mark E. Brown, CEO of TNS.

Brown received a letter from Phoenix today indicating the changes that Phoenix is undertaking. The letter states that the Channel Solution Providers would be receiving another letter in a few days terminating the contracts of the Solution Providers and the Trusted Network Partner Program. Brown took no time in notifying his clients of the removal of the Phoenix product line. TNS has already removed the Phoenix product line from its website.

TNS had just secured two new contracts on Friday with new clients to provide the RecoverPro solution offered by Phoenix. Brown says "TNS will be meeting with these clients and restructuring their contracts so that TNS will be able to fulfill the contracts to its clients.

After making a financial commitment to market and sell the Phoenix product line, I feel that this is a "slap" in the face to all the Channel Solution Providers by Phoenix. The new CEO of Phoenix knew the road he wanted to take Phoenix down and he could have reached out to the Channel Solution Providers so that we would not have kept putting out money for something that he was terminating, Brown continued to say.
