Producer Sessions Live launched last year as the UK’s pre-eminent consumer music production event, from the teams behind Future’s Computer Music and Future Music. This year’s Producer Session Live turns the volume up: featuring more producers, more exhibitors, more products and more opportunities for attendees to learn from industry experts.
The event brings together intimate tutorial sessions from some of the biggest names in music production alongside the chance to get hands-on with the latest hi-tech recording gear within a studio environment.
The teams from Future Music and Computer Music will be taking over the SAE building on 3rd- 4th September to present five floors and twenty demo rooms filled with tutorials, gear demos and essential advice for upcoming producers.
Appearing live across the weekend will be a host of stars, each hosting one of 15 exclusive tutorial sessions to explain how they create their hits. As with last year, these sessions are expected to sell out fast. Confirmed sessions so far include: Stonebridge, D.Ramirez, Dave Spoon, Kid Massive, Nicky Romero, Dom Kane, Steve Mac, Tommy D, Danny Byrd, Nu-Tone and The Artful Dodger.
There is also an A&R panel to judge attendee’s tracks, advice from the record industry and the results of our Producer Sessions Live remix competition with major prizes up for grabs.
Confirmed for the Demo Rooms and Studios so far:
2twenty2, Time & Space, Sontronics, Musictrack, Future Copyright, Sonic Distributio, sE Electronics, Numark/Akai/Alesis, Focusrite, Korg, Ableton, Allianz, Avid Technology, M-Audio, Pro Tools, Sound Technology, Source Distribution, Absolute Music, Yamaha, Sonic8 and SCV.
Returning retail partners Absolute Music will once again be running their in-show store, with tempting offers for all event attendees.
Rob Last, Publisher, says: “We are securing room and studio bookings much earlier this year, which gives us a great opportunity to promote clients brands and the hands-on element of the show. Ultimately the weekend is about exciting people about making music and the products involved, and this year’s artist line-up and exhibitor list ensures there’s no doubt we’ll achieve that.”
Producer Sessions Live will also be hosting its own room at world-famous super-club Ministry of Sound in London, with a Producer Sessions Live wristband securing free admission for the night.
