Red Herring has named the field of contenders for the “Red Herring Top 100 Europe” award, a prestigious list honoring this year’s most promising European private technology ventures. The Red Herring team uses a competitive process to select the most innovative companies from a pool of over 700 applicants, leaving 200 finalists competing for first place, a Top 100 Award. Red Herring nominees are rigidly evaluated on quantitative and qualitative criteria; financial performance, technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy and integration. This assessment is measured by a review of the track record and standing of a company, allowing Red Herring to see past the hype and make the list a valuable instrument for discovering and advocating great business opportunities in the industry.
On May 23-25, 2011, Amsterdam, Netherlands will be the host city for the Red Herring Wireless World conference, an exclusive gathering of international leaders and small, innovative startups in the wireless community.
