The main purpose of the bvh partner program is to provide its more than 300 members qualified potential providers of services essential for mail-order companies. To be considered for inclusion in the preferred business partner program, a provider must have at least two positive recommendations from bvh member companies.
“The status of preferred business partner is only granted to companies enjoying full confidence within our industry sector and which have already proved their reliability and quality,” explains bvh President Thomas Lipke, who is also managing director of the outdoor retailer Globetrotter Ausrüstung, based in Hamburg. “The consultants of CIBER impressed us with their profound mail order know-how within the SAP environment – especially for multi-channel retailing: the combination of online shops, catalogues and over-the-counter trade. The mail-order industry needs IT-service providers to be a driving force to push future oriented topics within our industry sector,” he added.
