Wendy Pease, Owner and Executive Director of Rapport International LLC, a woman–owned, full-service translation and interpretation company is proud to announce that Rapport International has been awarded a Massachusetts State Contract and is listed as a preferred vendor under PRF48.
PRF48 is a contract that establishes qualified bidders to work in the Foreign Language Interpretation and Translation services within the State of Massachusetts. Along with being State approved, Rapport International is small, woman-owned business certified by the State of MA Supplier Diversity Program (SDP) and Center for Women and Enterprise (WBENC).
“Being awarded this contract is an honor. The State of MA puts each company through vigorous testing to be sure that a vendor is qualified to handle the demands of the State Contracts,” says Ms. Pease. “We’ve been on the contract for the last four years and have great relationships with our State of MA clients, but each renewal time we go through the same vigorous application process.”
Ms. Pease has a MBA from Dartmouth College, and a BA in Foreign Service from Penn State. Prior to owning this business, Ms. Pease served in senior management positions in international marketing and business development. She has lived in Mexico, Taiwan and the Philippines and is passionate about languages, cultures and communications.
Ms. Pease is an expert and regularly speaks on translation, interpretation, global business, languages of the world and cultural diversity. She is able to guide her customers through the maze of multi-lingual communications and establishing best practices for managing the communications. In addition, she has a wealth of knowledge and speaking experience in the areas of buying a business, pursuing your dreams, and balancing work and family life.
