Houston, TX, United States, 2011/03/28 - Integrated Consulting, a small Houston, TX based firm, has been awarded a major international contract for project controls implementation for the energy industry - ICPCS.com.
Integrated Consulting today announced that they have been awarded a major implementation contract and have entered into a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with one of Korea’s largest and most respected power engineering and construction companies. The signing of this MSA solidifies Integrated Consulting’s selection as the sole contractor for project controls, project management and training for the Korean based E&C contractor.
The implementation consist of integrating the current business processes with international proven project management processes to help the clients projects finish on time and within target budgets. To help the client achieve these goals, Integrated Consulting will be developing and integrating schedules, budgets, risk analysis, earned value techniques, project management policies and procedures, and training approximately 75 internal employees.
The Integrated Consulting implementation team is comprised of Senior Project Controls consultants with over 70 years of combined experience. Each team member was hand selected for their unique and superior skill set, industry knowledge and training ability.
This award further positions Integrated Consulting as a global organization with representatives and clients around the world. Integrated Consulting (icpcs.com) has focused on global expansion after gaining market share domestically since its inception in 2005. This global expansion follows a recent corporate restructure, an acquisition, and a joint venture, which broadened the services that Integrated Consulting now offers. The new services now include construction management and emergency notification systems (though JV partnership).

The long range project goals are primarily focused on large scale nuclear projects on a global scale. It is expected that work will begin in April, in Korea, and last for at least 12 months.
